  The Huntington Co. Humane Society is the governing entity for the Huntington Co. Humane Shelter.  Our little shelter has been serving the community since 1975, providing to families pets that have given years and years of joy and companionship. 
 Animal Control service works with local law enforcement to insure and protect the community from abandoned, injured and stray animals of all kinds by enforcing current City Ordinances.
  The Humane Shelter Staff work day in and day out to educate each and every person walking into the facility of the importance of spay and neutering each pet and keeping them healthy through proper Veterinarian care. 
  The Humane Edcuator strives to educate children, teens and adults in the care, training and the importance of spay and neutering in the schools, at group meeting and through the Junior Humane Society Club.
  To sum us up, the Huntington Co Humane Society is here for the community and the improved care of our community pet population.
